There’s been a lot of chatter on both blogs and forums as of late stating that those “real reviewer” units Palm was promising to prospective owners — essentially “everyman critics” — would be sent out some time this week. In fact, some folks have even been spouting off that they’ve received their devices (see the magic above, and one of the source photos which has been cropped and blurred after the break). Well here’s the deal: those units aren’t going out to “real reviewers” before they get into the hands of fake reviewers..

Still no official word on its existence, but one forum poster happened to stumble upon an out-of-the-box display for the Wacom Intuos4 pen tablet while browsing through a brick-and-mortar Future Shop. Lucky for us, he thought to snap a few pics, albeit ’shopped to appear in the traditional blurrycam art style

We already told you how much we appreciated the aesthetics of Razer’s latest gaming mouse (that’d be the Mamba , officially), but we spent the weekend embroiled in deathmatches and everyday blogging tasks in order to give you a bit more insight on whether this beautiful input peripheral really deserves to be acquired in exchange for $129.99. Sure, the 120 million mark of the RAZR V3 might be a little hard to grasp at, but with innovative features like shaving people’s faces , we could really see this Cool758 “razor phone” breaking into the double digits. Just pop the cap off the bottom and you’ve got a fully functional shaving implement, perfect for rubbing across your chin repeatedly in a vain hope that it’ll knock off a few bristles before that very important meeting you’re late and ill-prepared for. If shaving isn’t your thing, there’s always its dual-sim capability, a touchscreen, and a 2 megapixel camera to fall back on

We could ask if this trend will even end, but considering that we’re hoping with all our might that the answer is “no,” we’ll just skip the inquiry altogether.

For whatever reason, Apple’s iPod ends up in the middle of quite a few crimes. The latest story, however, is even more extreme than usual

You know, at some point we’re going to grow tired of just getting closer and demand that we arrive, but thankfully for a smattering of UK-based researchers, we’re not yet to that point. Reportedly, brainiacs from Edinburgh and Manchester University have created a molecular machine that could be used to develop quantum computers for making “intricate calculations” far more quickly than current supercomputers
